Very soon after making the decision to become a vegan I discovered Amy's Organics...and let me tell ya...Amy's is every busy vegan's best friend. When my mornings are too busy to put together a delicious colorful salad topped with avocado and kidney beans I toss one of Amy's burritos into my bag and head out the door. When I'm too tired at night to make my favorite cabbage roll ups with almond dipping sauce I heat up one of Amy's enchilada dishes. When I've made too much tomato soup and I need a change of pace I open a can of Amy's No Chicken Noodle soup. And then there's her yummy chili, her Tuscan Bean and Rice soup, and her veggie loaf which saw me through this Thanksgiving holiday. And just when I thought life couldn't get any better I was meandering around in the freezer section of my local grocery store last week when I spied Amy's cheese-less pizza. Pizza is one of my weakness and when the guys order pizza I am certain to fall off the vegan wagon. Sure I could order a pizza without cheese but please...who really wants to do that? But now that I've discovered Amy's amazingly delicious cheese-less pizza all my pizza problems have been solved. Roaming around on Amy's site I see that she has many, many more products I have yet to discover...and she has a blog. I'm not certain my heart can take so much happiness. Now if only she'd create a vegan cheese I could stomach then all my vegan woes would be solved.
i heart amy's too!! mmm, enchiladas.....
xoxo

Hi,
This is my first time visiting your site but I have read several poems, and posts. I have been a vegetarian for 8 months now, and trying to go vegan. I have to confess I love cheese so that is the issue. I drink either soy milk or almond milk so milk is easy to avoid, but craving cheese is one thing I have problems giving up. I'm working on it though and it is an ongoing process to be healthier. I love Amy's products. My favorites are the black bean soup and the enchilladas. Very encouraging! Thank you!

i know what you mean! I LOVE Amy's meals too. I'm not a big cook, and it's nice to have a healthy FAST option for the kiddos. And for me too!

I have a few favorites of Amy's I always buy at the store too :) I love the burrito's and there is a soup that is TO DIE FOR... I can't remember what its called now, and of course I don't have a can in my pantry at the moment... but it is heavenly! It is one of the southwestern ones... Holy yumminess!

ohhhhhhh ~ i am going to take a look around because there are some products here in canada apparently :) thanks!!
i am incredibly saddened because the cheese that i was using is apparently NOT vegan and not completely natural either and has been pulled from my organic stores, not that i could eat it now anyway, knowing what i know. sigh. we tried a different vegan cheese on the weekend and it was yuck, stuck to my teeth when melted and tasted ... yuck. sigh. there is apparently a brand called sheese (http://www.buteisland.com/) which i've been told is really good but its crazy expensive and i haven't tried it yet, its my last cheese hope. sigh.

I've tried some of Amy's products.. they're really good. Very close to the real thing. I think she makes an organic mac n cheese in a box.. but I'm not sure if it's vegan.

Ooooo I have never heard of this line of food! While I'm not vegan, my boyfriend is allergic to dairy, and we HAVE ordered pizza without cheese. He hates it, though, because it's embarassing for him.
I am always looking for foods we can share, so thanks for this tip!

I'm not a vegan, but I love those cheeseless pizzas! I eat them maybe a little too often. :)
The burrito's are yummy, too!

Hi Michelle, been reading your blog for a while (I emailed you too). I'm in the process of becoming vegan so it's always cool to find places with animal friendly stuff. How long have you been vegan?
