The images here really work. The childlike love of nature is perfect! Well, well done!

"She holds
on to the taste of the moon's
unfailing life."

Very evocatic poem.

hel

Sigh.

When are you publishing so that I can keep your poems next to my pillow and give them to my most favourite people?

rubyslippers

i have goosebumps all over...

Rob Kistner

Captivating!

ceanandjen

Gorgeous words that I will hold close to my being today.

xoxo

Jim

Tremendous.

The movement of the poem, the repetitive syntax, goes out and out and out with the very hunger of the content. The ending is brilliant, so direct.

jenica

i loved "kissing the moon..."

gkgirl

beautiful...
and that photo, sigh!

lovely words...i am a huge moon girl ~ always so sensitive to it's cycles. i planned the beginning of my new venture to coincide with the new moon which i am told is a very fortuitous step to take. i also often think of my son's sleeping face as the moon...just perfct and peaceful and luminous. enjoy your month of self-care. what a wonderful way to honor your presence on this earth :) xo, mindy

This is just magnificent. I love the "hanging on to the sound of crickets/as if their song were God's own holy voice"

Because sometimes the night is frightening and crickets (and frogs and other buzzing, singing things) really do bring comfort.

*Terramia*

Wow... very stirring. (:

snowsparkle

i've been held under the waves of the river for so long... finally surfacing for a bit of air and find your amazing words... lucky me!!!! thank you!

Alex

You're so poetic in words and in images, girl! I'm loving your photos combined with your poetry... Just Divine! I gotta find my way back to Poetry Thursday too. Maybe this week!
